Turning settled and cool

A mre settled week overall coming up once rain clears on Monday, though it will be a chilly week as a northerly wind develops. Staying largely dry into next weekend with temperatures starting to recover.

Wednesday 14/9/22
High pressure stays to the west on Wednesday with low pressure to the east. A prominant northerly wind will blow through making many feel rather cool, though it is expected to be mostly dry and bright, just scattered showers across northern and northwestern regions of Scotland. Outbreaks of rain continue to pester the far south of England, though the rain should ease and clear in the afternoon. Highs at 23C in the south, 15C in the north.

Thursday 15/9/22
A persistent northerly wind flow down the country on Thursday making it feel again cool, chilly in the north. Showery rain affecting northern and eastern Scotland as well as northeast England, otherwise a dry and sunny day. Highs at 15 to 20C.

Friday 16/9/22
Less windy on Friday as the high pressure centre moves more over the British Isles. A chilly start for many and a cool day ahead. Cloud and drizzle will affect easternmost areas of England, otherwise, a dry and fine day once mist and fog patches lift. Highs at 14 to 19C.

Saturday 17/9/22
High pressure keeps most places dry with sunny spells again though still cool to chilly. Mist and fog across southern and western areas will gradually lift in the morning. Showers through west Scotland, otherwise a dry and fine day. Highs at 14 to 19C.

Sunday 18/9/22
A weak front attempts to push cloud and patchy rain down the country on Sunday though with high pressure being dominant most places will stay dry. Still a cool day with highs at 16 to 20C.

Monday 19/9/22
High pressure centres over England. Mist and fog is expected to be rather prominant first thing through England, Wales and Ireland. Breezy across Scotland withg patchy rain through northern and northwestern areas. Dry with sunny spells developing elsewhere. Highs at a less cool 17 to 21C.
