Rain in west while sunny spells being confined to the east

Good morning,

Mist and fog patches to start the day but this will lift to see some sunny spells, however, there will be more cloud about than yesterday with the best of the sunny spells being confined to the east.

Largely dry, though rain will spread across Ireland, Northern Ireland into some far western regions of the UK later.

A milder night due to cloudier skies while outbreaks of rain spread across Scotland, Wales and northern England, clearing much of Scotland and Ireland through the early hours, while central and southern England will stay dry though cloudy.
