Staying largely unsettled, though drier and cooler for many into the weekend.

Weather gradually settles towards and at the weekend for many though it will feel cooler for the north and northeast in particular. Then back into an unsettled flow next week and temperatures look to climb to potentially feeling very warm in the south.

Saturday 10/9/22
A ridge of high pressure bringing a mostly dry day across Ireland and the UK on Saturday with some sunny spells. Some patchy rain is expected across parts of England, mainly further east but this should gradually clear through the day. Highs at 22C in southern England, 16C in northern Scotland.
 

Sunday 11/9/22
An Atlantic area of low pressure sits to the west of the UK on Sunday. A mild to warm day is expected for many. Mostly dry though cloud and rain will push in across southwestern areas of the country gradually moving northwards. Highs at 24C across central southern England, 19C further north.

Monday 12/9/22
Rain overnight and first thing should clear the north during the morning with many places looking to see a dry and mainly fine day, though showers are likely for some across northern and western areas. Highs in the north at 19C, warm across central and southern England reaching to 25 to 27C.

Tuesday 13/9/22
Low pressure drifts east across the southern half of the country on Tuesday. A day of sunny spells and showers, some of the showers will be heavy and possibly thundery. Feeling warm to very warm in the sunshine further south. Highs at 19C further north and 25 to 27C in the south.

Wednesday 14/9/22
A largely dry day is expected though developing heavy showers are to be expected for some as the day progresses. Highs at 19 to 24C.

Thursday 15/9/22
A mixed day with sunny spells but also showers about, some of these could be heavy. Less warm than previous days. Highs at 18 to 23C.
