More persistent rain pushing into northeast England, drifting into the south and east of Scotland later the day. Drier in the far north and west of Scotland and Northern Ireland with some sunny spells developing. Highs at 22C in southern England, 16 to 19C in Scotland, Ireland and the west of the UK.
