Tuesday 06/10/20
Low pressure sits over Scotland on Tuesday bringing outbreaks of rain to many, paricularly northern and western areas as winds will blow from a west to north-westerly direction. Breezy along the southern and western coasts. Driest areas with the best chance of any sunny spells across eastern areas. Highs at 11 to 16C.

Wednesday 07/10/20
A westerly flow prevails midweek while low pressure circulates over northern Scotland. A breezy day for many with windy conditions for parts of northern Scotland. Rain in the far north with showers across western areas. Driest and brightest conditions once again in the east and south. Maximum temperatures at 11 to 15C.

Thursday 08/10/20
Confidence is low but we could see low pressure move back across the UK on Thursday, bringing outbreaks of rain to all areas of the country through the day. Rain will clear with brighter and drier conditions developing from the southwest. A particularly windy day too. The south would be within a warm sector with highs at around 17-20C in the south and southeast. Colder in the north and west with highs here at 8-11C.

Friday 09/10/20
Confidence remains low into Friday. A northwesterly flow may develop over the region bringing a brighter and largely dry day to the country, however with the low pressure to the northeast expect rain across northern Scotland. A few showers affecting northwest-facing coasts and hills too. Feeling cool with highs at 9 to 15C.

Saturday 10/10/20
Again confidence is low but a northwest to northerly flow is expected into Saturday bringing cool conditions to the region. Showers affect north-facing coasts and hills. These may be locally heavy for a time. Highs of 10 to 14C.

Sunday 11/10/20
High pressure attempts to become established across the British Isles with slacker winds and plenty of dry and fine conditions. A cooler northerly flow will persist however and felt more in the east where there will be showers pushing onshore. Highs of 10 to 13C.
