Good spells of sunshine for most but some cloud and rain to the northwest

Good morning,

The sun has his hat on again this morning over most of the UK. There will be good spells of sunshine, although it will be another chilly start. It should be staying sunny through this afternoon in most of England and Wales, although cloud increasing across eastern Scotland. Feeling warm later in the sunier areas too.

Always more cloud in northwest Scotland with some spots of rain along northern and western coasts. Some rain too in western Ireland. Dry for most other areas though.

Tonight sees some chillier air moving into northern Scotland and northwest Ireland, It should be dry and clear in much of England and Wales with chilly conditions by the morning and a touch of frost in sheltered areas.
