Cooler conditions, showers and breezy as well

The flow turns more northwesterly through this weekend and into next week. This brings cooler, more mixed conditions through all arreas. There will be showers and these could be heavy at times into Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Staying showery towards the end of the week too, remaining cool.

Monday 1/4/19
Fronts driving into Scotland and Ireland on Monday bringing some cloud and outbreaks of rain. The rain could be heavy in western Scotland. Drier through England and Wales. There will be some sunny spells. Little changes for the afternoon with northern and western areas being damp, whilst the east and south stays dry. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 13C in southern England.

Tuesday 2/4/19
The flow turns more northwesterly through Tuesday. This brings a cold day with showers. There will be a few brighter spells, the best in the west. Snow over high ground of Scotland and northern England as heavier showers pass through. Highs at 5 to 11C.

 
 
 

Wednesday 3/4/19
Low pressure stays off eastern coasts on Wednesday bringing showers and cold weather across central and eastern areas. Drier to the west with a ridge of higher pressure building here. Windy in the east. Highs at 8 to 11C.

 
 
 

Thursday 4/4/19
Further showers in the east with lower pressure being closer by here. Higher pressure in the west with dry weather persisting. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Friday 5/4/19
Little change with the low pressure close by in the east giving showers here. Fronts may arrive through Ireland and the west of the UK with some showery rain. Drier elsewhere. Staying cool at 8 to 12C.

Saturday 6/4/19
The risk of some showery rain in the south and east on Saturday. Perhaps drier to the west, although confidence in low. Highs at 8 to 12C.
