A cooler weekend then milder again next week

Temperatures become less mild this weekend when there will be plenty of cloud and a few spots of rain for many. Higher pressure next week with sunny spells. It may become very mild at the end of the week as southerly winds develop.

Sunday 24/3/19
A cold front eventual clears southern England on Sunday morning, taking spots of rain with it. Turning brighter for most as a ridge of high pressure builds through Ireland, England and Wales allowing for sunny spells. Breezy in Scotland, showers here most of them in the north and west. Dry and bright in eastern and southern Scotland. Highs at 13C in southeast England, 8 to 10C in the north and west.

Monday 25/3/19
High pressure over Ireland and affecting the whole of the UK on Monday. This brings a cool day with dry weather and plenty of sunshine in the west. There will be some cloud and showers in northwest Scotland and perhaps some showers and cloud over the Pennines and parts of the Midlands. Highs at 8 to 12C.
 

Tuesday 26/3/19
High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. It is likely to be a chilly start to the morning, but then the day is likely to be dry and sunny over most of England, Wales and Ireland as well as southern and eastern Scotland. Some cloud in northwest Scotland allowing for a few spots of drizzle here. Highs at 9 to 15C.
 

Wednesday 27/3/19
High pressure stays over the country on Wednesday. More dry weather with good spells of sunshine after a chilly start. Some cloud may affect western coasts and hills. Highs at 11 to 17C.

Thursday 28/3/19
Pressure stays high on Thursday. This allows for plenty of dry weather and sunny spells. However, a weak front may push some cloud east across Scotland and parts of northwest England. A risk of some patchy drizzle in the far northwest. Highs at 11 to 18C.

Friday 29/3/19
Pressure staying high through Friday. This brings a fair day with lots of sunshine. It may become very mild. Highs at 14 to 20C.
