Dry few days for many
Windy northwest

Issued: 0900 Wednesday 1st January 2020
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Dry for a few days with variable cloud and temperatures; windier and milder next week

Plenty of dry weather for the next few days as higher pressure influences the weather of the UK and Ireland. Variable amounts of cloud will bring sunshine to some, but some dull days for others. A risk of drizzle in western Scotland. Temperatures will be varying too. Turning cooler from the north on Friday, all areas briefly experiencing the cooler weather over the weekend. Indications for next week are for windier, milder conditions to develop.
