Monday 25/03/19 High pressure is centred over the Irish Sea on Monday and is affecting all of the UK and Ireland. It will be a cool day but dry with plenty of sunshine. There may be a few mist and fog patches around first thing but these should burn off quickly. High cloud may turn the sun hazy at times while northern areas may remain cloudy for much of the day. Highs at 9 to 13C.
Tuesday 26/03/19 High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. It is likely to be a chilly start to the morning, but then the day is likely to be dry and sunny over most of England, Wales and Ireland as well as southern and eastern Scotland. Some cloud in northwest Scotland allowing for a few spots of drizzle here. Highs at 10 to 15C.
Wednesday 27/03/19 High pressure stays over the country on Wednesday. More dry weather with good spells of sunshine after a chilly start. Some cloud may affect western coasts and hills bringing a few spots of rain to northwestern Scotland. High temperatures at 11 to 17C.
Thursday 28/03/19 Pressure stays high on Thursday which allows for plenty of dry weather and sunny spells. A weak front may push some cloud east across Scotland and parts of northwest England. A risk of some patchy drizzle in the far northwest. Highs at 11 to 18C.
Friday 29/03/19 High pressure may shift further south on Friday allowing a front to bring thicker cloud and light rain to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cooler in the north but staying dry and mild in the south. Highs at 10 to 18C.
Saturday 30/03/19 Early indications are that an area of low pressure may develop over the southern part of the UK. This would bring a cooler day with showers in the north and more persistent rain in the south. High temperatures at 8 to 17C.
