Turning colder through Saturday and Sunday with most rain and showers to the north
Higher pressure is in control of the weather overall during the coming week. This brings plenty of dry weather, especially in the south, but rain and showers affecting Scotland and times. Becoming colder through the weekend and early next week, but temperaures tending to lift later in the week.

Sunday 31/3/19 Pressure is going to be high on Sunday, centred over Scotland. The remnants of a front over southern England bring some cloud in central and southern areas as well as through Wales. This cloud should break in the afternoon with some sunny spells coming through. Brighter in Northern Ireland and Scotland with lots of sunshine. Highs at 8 to 12C.
Monday 1/4/19 A colder day for all on Monday as pressure stays high. This brings dry conditions and plenty of sunshine. Cloudier in northern England, Ireland and Scotland with rain in northern and western Scotland. Windier in northern areas too, making it feel colder. Highs at 6 to 11C.
Tuesday 2/4/19 The flow turns more northwesterly through Tuesday. This brings a cold day with showers. There will be some brighter spells to the south where it should stay dry. Snow over high ground of Scotland and northern England as heavier showers pass through. Highs at 7 to 14C.
Wednesday 3/4/19 High pressure brings a fair day to much of Ireland, Wales and England on Wednesday. Cloud and rain in northern Scotland, most of this only light. Highs at 9 to 13C.
Thursday 4/4/19 Pressure stays high through Thursday. There will be morning mist and fog patches. Broken cloud and dry in much of the UK and Ireland. Some cloud in western Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 9 to 15C.
Friday 5/3/19 Higher pressure remains on Friday. This brings dry conditions with sunny spells. Cloud and periods of showery rain in central and northern Scotland where it will be breezy too. Highs at 7 to 15C.
