Morning Call - March 15, 2019
Sunny spells northeast
Cloud & rain south

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 15th March 2019
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Rain in the south, showers in the west, best sunshine in the northeast

Good morning,

A windy morning in the far south of England. A front is moving south bringing showery periods of rain through Wales, central and southern England. It should be turning brighter to the north, with some reasonable spells of sunshine developing in northeast England and eastern Scotland. Showers in western Scotland and northwest England. Breezy for all.

This afternoon sees cloud and spots of rain in southern Wales and the far south of England as well as southern Ireland. Staying brighter in northeast England and eastern Scotland. Cloudier in western areas with some showers here.

Get ready for some heavy rain tonight in Ireland, western Wales and much of England. Severe gales arriving in the southwest too.
