Chilly easterly breeze

Good morning,

High pressure will be centred over northern Britain today, bringing plenty of fair, sunny weather after a chilly start.

An easterly breeze affects the Midlands and south, taking the edge off the temperatures. Remnants of a cold front over southern England may bring spots of rain or a local shower, but most places will stay dry.

Today's top temperatures will reach 8 to 12C, coolest toward the northeast.
