Rain developing more widely tonight
Good morning,
High pressure is to the east of Britain today, and slack high pressure influences the south giving a fair day here with a good deal of sunshine.
Low pressure centred toward Iceland pushes fronts into western Scotland and Ireland through the day, where outbreaks of rain become more persistent.
Patchy rain later arriving for Wales and northwest England, spreading further into central areas after dark.
Today's top temperatures reaching 12 to 15C in the Midlands and south after a chilly start. Nearer 7 to 10C for northern regions.
