Sunshine and warmest where sheltered in northwest
Good morning,
High pressure remains centred over Scandinavia, with an east or southeasterly airflow across the British Isles today and for several days ahead.
Strongest winds around southeastern coasts. A weak front brings a risk of patchy rain to the English Channel at first, but tending to pull away southwards.
Otherwise most places dry with sunshine. Least wind toward the northwest.
Today's top temperatures reaching 10 to 13C, highest in the west. Cooler along eastern coasts at 7 or 8C, and feeling bitter where exposed to the wind.
Have a great day. Garry
