Showers west, north and east, cold for all with the best sunshine in England and Wales
Cool day ahead and feeling cold in the wind. There will be sunny spells through this morning across many parts of England and Wales. Some showers affecting northern and western Wales as well as south-west England, what are two of these heavy. Dryer elsewhere. cloudier in Scotland with frequent showers or longer spells of rain affecting many areas, mostly the east. Northern and western coast of Ireland will have showers but the east should be dry.
This afternoon stays bright across much of England in eastern Wales. The cloud and more persistent rain slips into the far north east of England.Further showers in northern western Scotland as well as the northern west of Ireland. It's stationary to across northern western Wales and Southwest England. Feeling cold.
As the wind changes direction overnight so the showers will shift to be mostly affecting eastern Scotland and eastern England by the morning. Scattered showers in western Wales and Southwest England as well as along the coast of eastern Ireland. Becoming dryer during the night in western Scotland and western Ireland.
