Morning Call - November 19, 2021
Breezy in north
Mostly dry

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 19th November 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Best of the sunshine in the east

A mostly dry day is expected, although north and west Scotland will see blustery showers. A westerly wind brings more cloud to western regions generally with best of the sunshine further east.

As high pressure sits over southern England bringing a much lighter wind here a risk of mist and fog patches developing overnight and lingering through the morning is epected across parts of England and Wales.

Overnight, it should be mostly dry with clear spells. Staying breezy through Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England with heavier, more persistent rainfall across north and west Scotland. Some mist and drizzle affecting western coasts and hills across Wales and southwest England too.
