Cloud and patchy rain in south. Drier and brighter further north.
In the morning, some rain across central and southern English counties as well as south Wales with cloudy skies along with mist and fog patches likely. Drier conditions and sunny spells expected across much of Scotland, northern England and north Wales, however, patchy rain does push in on to the Highlands and islands throughout the day.
In the afternoon rain gradually fizzles out across central and southern parts of England, although remains rather cloudy and damp feeling for many. Cloud thickens too further north.
A rather cloudy night with patchy rain and drizzle across parts of England and Wales. Elsewhere will be largely dry. Heavier rain pushes into northwest Scotland where it will become breezy. Mild further south, less mild in the north.
