Morning Call - November 11, 2021
Murky, drizzly west
Mild for all

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 11th November 2021
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Plenty of cloud, some mist and drizzle in the west, drier in the east

It's a murky morning out there for many of us. There will be some drizzle over western coasts and hills, with low cloud shrouding the hills elsewhere too. A few bright spells may break through the coud in central and eastern areas. Further drizzle and mist over the coasts of Ireland and western Scotland.

This afternoon sees the thickest of the cloud in western areas where there will be some drizzle and outbreaks of rain too. Most persistent of the rain into western Ireland and western Scotland. Winds increasing here to ear gale force. Eastern and southern areas tending to be drier, some brightness in east Anglia and the southeast too.

A wetter and windy night in many northern and western areas, gales in places. Drier for central and eastern England, but still windy. Mild.
