Cool but bright

A comparatively cooler day today yet bright with sunshine for many. Perhaps though more cloud towards coasts where showers are expected.

The far southeast of England may just see lingering cloud cover with more persistent light rain and drizzle.

Overnight, many showers ease up with clear skies for most, but some showers still expected to affect some eastern coasts of England as well as the southeast. Thicker cloud moves in across northern Scotland where winds will also pick up.
