Drizzly west Wales & Cumbria

Good morning,

A benign pressure pattern exists across Britain today, with high pressure centred toward the southwest of Ireland. Generally quiet weather conditions.

A weakening cold front draped across northwest England and Wales brings cloudy skies and patchy drizzly rain. Rather murky near Irish Sea coasts and over the hills. Brighter skies behind the front across Ireland.

Mostly light winds, some morning fog patches will be slow to clear. Otherwise sunshine breaking through, best toward the east. Also bright with sun for much of central and northern Scotland with a stronger southwesterly breeze here.

Today's top temperatures between 9 and 13C, warmest around the East Midlands where sun comes through.

Have a great day.
Garry
