Showers easing though staying chilly

A largely dry morning with sunny spells about. Still lingering persistent showers affecting the very far west of Wales as well as Cornwall. Eastern coastal counties of England too seeing showers.

The afternoon will see many of the showers ease off, although could continue around East Anglia and the far southeast of England. Cloud building in across Scotland as light rain and drizzle affects the far northwest here. Remaining dry elsewhere with sunny spells.

Showers become more prevalent down and around northern and western coasts of Scotland overnight. Showers push in on to western regions of Ireland and perhaps again on to Wales and Cornwall too. Largely dry elsewhere. Cloud also builds and it should be a less chilly night further north but with lows close to zero in and across parts of England perhaps.
