Morning Call - November 27, 2020
Chilly
Mist & fog

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 27th November 2020
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Another chilly start to the day with some frost as well as extensive mist and fog patches over England, Wales and Ireland in particular. Much of this will clear but it will likely linger for much of the day in a few favoured spots. A cloudy day for western Scotland with patchy outbreaks of rain here. Cloud thickens over southern England later too with the risk of some patchy rain developing here too.

Good Morning,

A chilly start for all today with extensive mist and fog patches across southern and central parts of Ireland and England and across Wales too. Cloudy over western parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland with some pstchy rain here through the morning.

Many mist and fog patches clear as we head into the afternoon though a few will be rather stubborn and may linger for most of the day. Some spells of brightness develop especially over northeast Scotland, northwest England, north Wales and eastern Ireland. Some cloud over southern counties of England moves onshore and may bring some light, patchy rain here. Staying chilly, especially where fog lingers.

Patchy rain spreads northward over southern England into the Midlands and south Wales while cloud and patchy rain continue to affect western Scotland too. Mostly cloudy elsewhere though clearer skies develop over eastern England later.

Have a good day!

Claire
