Mist and mist once again but largely dry. Rain moving into northern areas overnight.
In the morning, it will be rather murky for places under mist and fog but where it does lift expect good spells of sunshine. Largely cloudy with patchy light rain and drizzle possible across the far north of England and into southern areas of Scotland. Breezier with variable cloud across the rest of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland with some possible light rain in the far northwest. Mainly dry elsewhere.
During the afternoon, some mist and fog patches should thin out allowing for some sunshine to appear albeit hazy in some areas of mainly England and Wales but also southern Scotland. Cloudier skies across western Scotland and Northern Ireland and much of Ireland with some patchy light rain and drizzle still affecting western areas here. Brighter further east here. Staying largely dry for many.
Overnight, staying mostly dry across England, Wales and Northern Ireland with mist and fog lingering or developing again across these areas. Rain will push into northern and western Scotland and is expected to sink southwards down into eastern and southern parts through the night as well as moving into Northern Ireland. Winds will strengthen in the west.
