Rain passing through then sunny spell and showers developing behind with conditions best towards the south and east.
It will be cloudy and wet with rain clearing towards the east through the morning. Behind the front expect improving conditions.
This afternoon will see better conditions; largely dry with sunshine across much of central and southern England as well as Wales. Showers will affect northwest England as well as western parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Showers or longer spells of rain for western Scotland.
Dry for much of England and Scotland through the first part of the night but with showers still affecting some western areas. Meanwhile, rain will push into western Ireland and Northern Ireland and will spread eastwards across western parts of Scotland, England and Wales through the early hours. Staying mainly dry further east.
