A dry start to the day for many across the UK though there will be a fair amount of cloud around. Rain spreads across Ireland through the morning then into Northern Ireland and western parts of Great Britain through the afternoon. Rain will be accompanied by strengthening winds once again.
Good Morning,
It's a dry but rather cloudy start to the working week for many though light, patchy rain affects western parts of Scotland and northwest England first thing. This fades as the morning progresses. Some good spells of sunshine first thing for eastern parts of England and Scotland. Thicker cloud over Ireland and Northern Ireland with rain pushing in from the southwest across Ireland and into the far west of Northern Ireland by lunchtime.
Cloud thickens over the UK through the afternoon with rain spreading from Ireland across Northern Ireland and Wales and into western parts of England and Scotland. Staying drier for far southern counties of England. Winds pick up again from the west too.
Rain continues to spread eastward into Monday evening though the far northeast of Scotland and southeast of England should stay dry but rather cloudy. Rain eases over Ireland and Northern Ireland though showers persist to the far west here.
Have a good day!
Claire
