Mixed weather continues

Typical British wet weather on Saturday for the Coronation, then an improved day for many on Sunday. Next week is mixed with rain to start off the week then sunny spells and showers with plenty of dry periods too.

Tuesday 9/5/23
A weak ridge of high pressure is over the country on Tuesday. Many places will be dry with sunny spells, but there are also showers about and developing more widely through the day. Longer spells of rain develop across southern England later in the day. Highs 12 to 18C.
 

Wednesday 10/5/23
Rain gradually clears East Anglia first thing on Wednesday to see another day of sunny spells and showers, possible longer spells of rain across western into central regions of Scotland as a weak area of low pressure moves through here. Fresher feeling day with highs at 11 to 17C.
 

Thursday 11/5/23
On Thursday the area of low pressure will move down the country bringing showers as well as longer spells of rain to some. Sunny spells for many with drier periods too. Highs at 11 to 16C.

 
 
 

Friday 12/5/23
A largely dry and fine day on Friday thanks to ridging high pressure, though cloud will build with outbreaks of rain moving towards western regions of Ireland and Scotland through the day. Highs at 13 to 18C.

Saturday 13/5/23
Saturday is cloudy and wet day across much of the north and west of the UK, while central and southeast England remains dry and fine. Highs at 12 to 19C.

Sunday 14/5/23
Sunday is a cloudy and largely wet day across central and southeast England with the rain gradually clearing from the north and west. Elsewhere, there will be sunshine and some showers but many staying dry. Highs at 11 to 16C.
