High pressure over or close by Scotland will keep places dry though with a brisk east to north-easterly wind persisting cloud will be prevalent across many eastern into central areas. Better sunshine for more this weekend, though wets is best for sun and warmth.

Some cloud in eastern areas on Sunday. This breaks with sunny spells developing. The best sunshine in Scotland and across western areas of England and Wales as well as Ireland. Highs at 16C in the east, 23C in the west.

 
 
 

Monday 5/6/23
High pressure remains on Monday. More dry weather with plenty of sunshine. Some cloud in the east and south at first, this breaks to leave sunny spells. The best sunshine again in western areas. Highs at 23C in Ireland, 16C in eastern England.

Tuesday 6/6/23
Little change on Tuesday with high pressure west of Scotland. Fair for most with sunny spells although always more cloud in the north and east of England and Scotland. Highs at 23C in western Scotland, 20 to 21C for much of England and Wales, 16C along eastern coasts of England.

Wednesday 7/6/23
High pressure is sustained on Wednesday. Eastern areas may again see some cloud but the best sunshine in the west. Highs at 16C in eastern areas, 23C in the west.

Thursday 8/6/23
High pressure sits over Scotland on Thursday. Pathces of thicker cloud could bring a risk of some patchy drizzle though most if not all should stay dry with sunny spells. Highs at 23C in the west, 16C further east.

Friday 9/6/23
Pressure stays high and sits over Scotland. Dry with plenty of sunshine, though staying windy across southern England. Highs at 17 to 23C.
