UK Forecast - June 01, 2023
Best sun in west
Brisk easterly wind in south

Friday
High pressure remains to the north of Scotland on Friday. Cloud in the east continues to feed in from the North Sea, extending into the Midlands and southern areas of England in the morning. More of Scotland could also see thicker cloud too during the morning. Otherwise, many western areas will fair better with the sunshine and as the day progresses much of the cloud will break up allowing sunshine to develop, though northern Scotland stays largely cloudy. A brisker wind along southern English counties keeps temperatures back here. Highs at 16 to 21C for most, up to 24C across western Ireland.

Friday Night
Thicker cloud through northern Scotland could bring an odd spot of light rain, otherwise it will be a dry night with variable cloud cover. Best of the clear skies further west. Lows dropping to 6 to 9C.

Saturday
High pressure northwest of Scotland on Saturday again. The east to northeast flow persists bringing some cloud to eastern areas at first. The best sunshine in the west and this will be breaking the cloud and bringing it back to the coasts in the east allowing for more to see sunshine today. Highs at 23C in the west, 16C on eastern coasts.

Sunday
Some cloud in eastern areas on Sunday. This breaks with sunny spells developing. The best sunshine in Scotland and across western areas of England and Wales as well as Ireland. Highs at 16C in the east, 23C in the west.
