Dry, fine with plenty of sun for the majority
High pressure continues to bring settled and largely dry weather, though always the risk of more cloud and some patchy rain in the north. A brisk easterly wind flow develops next week pulling back temperatures in the east.

Saturday 27/5/23 Pressure is high again on Saturday. Fair for much of England, Wales and Ireland. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland where a front may bring some outbreaks of rain. Temperatures at 13 to 22C.
Sunday 28/5/23 A weak front pushes southwards across southern Scotland into northern England and parts of Ireland on Sunday bringing cloud and a few spots of rain on hills. Sunny spells and dry conditions elsewhere. Highs at 13 to 22C.
Monday 29/5/23 High pressure sits over the country on Monday. A bright day with good spells of sunshine once any mist and fog patches lift first thing. A stiff easterly wind picking up across southern English counties. A cooler day for many with highs at 11 to 19C.
Tuesday 30/5/23 High pressure sits over the North Sea on Tuesday. There will be some mist early in the morning, this lifting to leave the day dry and sunny. Likely staying windy in the far south and southeast keeping the temperatures down a tad here. Highs at 14 to 22C.
Wednesday 31/5/23 High pressure again sits over the country giving dry and fine weather with sunny spells once any mist and possible fog lifts first thing. Highs at 15 to 23C.
Thursday 01/6/23 Still expected settled with high pressure dominant on Thursday. A dry and fine day for most, though again a brisk north-easterly wind across south-eastern areas of England. Highs at 15 to 23C.
