Staying largely dry. Risk of showers by next weekend.

High pressure continues to give mostly dry weather though with variable cloud. The high centre gradually moves northwards next week allowing for an increased risk of showers in the south by next weekend. Warm and humid for many through next week.

Monday 29/5/23
High pressure sits over the country on Monday. A dry day with developing sunny spells for some but also a fair amount of cloud about too. A few mist and fog patches first thing also. Expect a stiff easterly wind picking up across southern English counties. Highs at 12 to 19C.
 

Tuesday 30/5/23
High pressure stays in situ over Scotland on Tuesday. There will be some mist early in the morning, this lifting to leave the day dry and sunny. Likely staying windy in the far south and southeast keeping the temperatures down a tad here. Possible cloudier skies here to with the risk of some drizzle. Highs at 14 to 23C, warmest across western areas.

Wednesday 31/5/23
High pressure stays dominant on Wednesday giving dry and fine weather with sunny spells once any mist and possible fog lifts first thing. Windy across southern areas.A warm day for many away from the wind with highs at 17 to 24C.

Thursday 01/6/23
Still expected settled with high pressure dominant on Thursday. A dry and fine day for most, though again a brisk north-easterly wind across south-eastern areas of England. Another warm day with highs at 18 to 24C, cooler in the east.

Friday 02/6/23
By the end of the week high pressure looks to be more towards Iceland allowing for an increased risk of perhaps the odd shower to develop across the country, though most should remain dry. A humid and warm day for many. Highs at 18 to 24C.

Saturday 03/6/23
High pressure stays close to Iceland on Saturday but still has influence over the UK and Ireland, however, the risk of some developing showers across particularly southern England and south Ireland increases. Highs at 17 to 24C.
