Unsettled and humid Saturday, better Sunday. Showery next week.

An unsettled Coronation weekend with showers as well as longer spells of rain, though Sunday does look to be the better of the two days. Rain on Monday soon clears to then see a sunny spells and showery theme through the rest of the week. Turning fresher too later on.

Saturday 6/5/23
Unsettled for many on Saturday with thicker cloud and persistent rain moving in across southwest England and Wales at first then turning more showery later. The rain moves into central then northern areas of England through the day. Meanwhile, sunny intervals and showers will develop further north and west, some of these will be heavy and merge into longer spells of rain. Highs at a humid 14 to 19C.

Sunday 7/5/23
Starting cloudy with some possible rain across the north and east, but an improving day is expected. Elsewhere, it should be mostly dry and fine with sunny spells, though a few scattered showers cannot be ruled out. Rain moving in to the south of Ireland by evening. Highs at 12 to 18C.
 

Monday 8/5/23
Outbreaks of rain clear from the west first thing on Monday pulling in a breezy westerly wind behind with sunny spells and showers. These showers likely to be frequent across western coasts and hills. Highs 12 to 18C.

A day of sunny spells and showers again as the wind shifts round to a north-westerly. Highs 13 to 18C.

Wednesday 10/5/23
A bright and sunny day for many but also showers, possible longer spells of rain across SE England later. Fresher feeling day with highs at 11 to 17C.

Thursday 11/5/23
After a chillier start than of late a ridge of higher pressure attempts to build in on Thursday, allowing for any showers about to gradually ease back with sunny spells developing. Highs at 11 to 17C.
