Morning Call - August 25, 2019
Very warm
Mostly bright

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 25th August 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

On the whole, it's a dry, bright and very warm day across the UK and Ireland. Cloudier to the far west with the threat of light showers for Ireland.

Good morning,

There will be a few mist or fog patches first thing for eastern, southern and Irish Sea coasts but these should clear to leave a mostly dry and bright morning for the British Isles. A few light, scattered showers over western parts of Ireland where there will be a bit more in the way of cloud around.

Continuing mostly dry and sunny into Sunday afternoon but with cloudier skies always over northwestern parts of Scotland and Ireland with the threat of isolated showers spreading across much of Ireland. High temperatures reaching just 18 or 19C under the cloudier skies to the west, more widely at 21 to 28C. Southeastern parts of England could see highs of 30C or even 31C.

Into the evening and the threat of showers over Ireland dissipates leaving a dry and bright end to the day across the UK and Ireland.

Have a great day!
Claire
