Morning Call - August 02, 2019
Localised showers
Mainly dry south

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 21st January 2019
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Pleasantly warm

Good morning,

High pressure centred to the north of the British Isles extends a ridge southwards.

A fair day for many places, although fairly cloudy. Sunshine generally best around the coasts, but should break through for many places from time to time. Southern England & East Anglia likely to stay dry all day.

Isolated showers are still possible, but these lighter and fewer than recent days. Unlucky spots may still see frequent rain over an hour or so. Light winds and light sea breezes.

Today's top temperatures will reach 26C in southern England, 22 to 24C for central England & Wales, and 19 to 22C for Scotland and Ireland. A little cooler around North Sea coasts.

Have a great day.
Garry
