Morning Call - August 23, 2019
Mostly dry & bright
Warm

Temperatures starting to warm up today as we head into the bank holiday weekend. A dry and bright day for most.

Good morning,

Any early rain over northwestern Scotland should clear to the north through the morning leaving a dry morning across the British Isles. Likewise any early morning mist or fog patches over central and southern parts of England should also clear as the morning progresses. Clearer skies to the southeast giving good spells of sunshine, cloudier to the north and west.

The afternoon continues much the same as the morning with cloudier skies always to the north and west. The best of any sunshine over eastern and southern parts of the country. Just a chance of light rain or drizzle developing for far western parts of Ireland and Scotland through the afternoon. High temperatures at just 16 or 17C in the far northwest of Scotland, 26 or 27C for southeastern England. More widely highs at 19 to 24C.

The risk of drizzle or light showers persists for the far west of Scotland and Ireland into this evening. Dry elsewhere with the best of the evening sunshine for southeastern regions.

Have a good day!
Claire
