Frequent spells of rain still over next few days. Turning cooler next week

Sunday 31/10/21
On Sunday, a new developing area of low pressure to the west of Scotland will push more rain in from the west across England and Wales, turning heavy and persistent at times, as well as push northeastwards across Scotland. Eventually clearing and drier and brighter weather will follow. Showery rain across Northern Ireland and Ireland, particularly in the west. A breezy day and cooler for most, with temperatures of 8 to 12C for many, although southeast England still sees highs up to 14C.

Monday 1/11/21
More rain pushes in to western areas on Monday. Central and eastern areas staying mainly dry but with the winds continuing to be brisk some rain and or showers is likely to push eastwards at times. Temperatures of 9 to 13C across England and Wales, 6 to 9C further north.

Tuesday 2/11/21
Winds become more northerly on Tuesday as low pressure sits over the North Sea. Showers will affect northern coasts, these falling wintry across Scotland and the hills. Most places should be dry and bright but coastal regions are at risk of showers. A cooler day is expected. Highs at 7 to 11C.

Wednesday 3/11/21
Another cool day but many places should remain dry. Perhaps more persistent rainfall expected across southeast England as low pressure pushes down over the near continent. Showers once again across northern Scotland and still expected to affect many coastal counties across the country. Temperatures of 6 to 10C.

Thursday 4/11/21
After a frosty start for some it will remain chilly on Thursday but dry for most as high pressure builds in across much of the country. A trailing weak front may just bring cloudier skies and some patchy rain to the far north of Scotland though. Breezy across Scotland as well. Highs at 6 to 10C.

Friday 5/11/21
High pressure still looks to influence drier conditions across much of England and Wales on Friday, however, rain could push in across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland, heavy rain in the west and patchier further east. A less chilly day with highs at 8 to 12C.
