Chillier next week but drier

A chillier northerly flow is through much of next week, but it will settle down the rainfall amounts as higher pressure also tries to build in across the country. Signs of a westerly flow returning again from the weekend onwards seeing temperatures recover slightly.

Tuesday 2/11/21
Continuing with a chillier northerly flow on Tuesday. A mostly dry and bright day with plenty of sunny spells, but also expect showers across northern and western coasts, these perhaps falling wintry across Scotland and the hills. Highs at 8 to 12C.

 
 
 

Wednesday 3/11/21
A weak front pushes south down the country on Wednesday, bringing cloud and some patchy rain for a time. Elsewhere will be mostly dry and bright with sunny spells, but again showers likely to affect northern and western coasts and hills, wintry again on higher ground, due to the north to north-westerly wind. Temperatures of 7 to 11C.
 

Thursday 4/11/21
With clear skies for many overnight a touch of frost is possible away from towns and cities first thing. Another chilly but mostly dry day as high pressure builds in across much of the country. A trailing weak front may just bring cloudier skies and some patchy rain to the far north of Scotland though. Breezy across Scotland as well. Highs at 7 to 12C.
 

Friday 5/11/21
High pressure still looks to influence mainly dry conditions across the UK and Ireland for the end of the week. The front further north yesterday will sink southwards today but really only just bring cloudier skies for a time, possibly with the risk of some spots of light rain across northern and central regions briefly. Cloud starts to increase in the northwest later. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Saturday 6/11/21
Cloud and rain will push southeastwards across the country on Saturday, clearing northern and western areas with drier and brighter weather to follow here, although in the brisk wind do expect a few scattered showers. Highs at 9 to 14C.

Sunday 7/11/21
Rain first thing across southern English counties should clear through the morning leading to a dry and fine rest of the day here. Largely dry with sunny spells elswhere, although cloud will thicken later in the west with rain edging into far western areas by evening. Highs at a less cold 10 to 14C.
