Fairly mild and mainly settled this week.

Mostly settled and largely dry as high pressure is dominant this week. Mist and fog though will be prevalent as well as weak fronts bringing cloud and possible rain. Next week sees a more mixed weather pattern return.

Wednesday 13/10/21
High pressure stays toward the southwest, bringing continued fair weather for most of the country. Some morning fog as well as starting cool again in rural areas. Sunshine and variable cloud into the afternoon. Light winds for England & Wales. A fresher westerly breeze for north and western Scotland, fairly cloudy here, perhaps drizzly rain in the northwest. Highs 13 to 18C, warmest southeast England.

Thursday 14/10/21
Staying fair across many areas, with some morning mist then sunshine breaking through. Light winds in the south, a fresher southwesterly breeze for Scotland will bring cloudy skies with outbreaks of rain in the north and west. Fairly mild, highs 13 to 18C, warmest in the east and south.
 

Friday 15/10/21
High pressure becomes dominant behind a weak cold front sinking south on Friday. This will bring some cloud for a time to England and Wales with some spots of rain likely but not totalling to much. Dry with decent spells of sunshine across Scotland and Northern Ireland once mist and fog lift here. Highs 13 to 19C, warmest in the east.
 

Saturday 16/10/21
High pressure drifts southeast on Saturday. Staying dry and mild for the Midlands and south of England and Wales. Some morning fog. Cloudier toward the north and west of Britain and Ireland. Highs 12 to 18C.

Sunday 17/10/21
Fair weather is likely to continue for south & eastern areas with high pressure centred towards the near continent. Morning fog will thin to give sunny spells. Some cloud and rain may move into the northwest with a strengthening wind. Highs 12 to 19C.

Monday 18/10/21
A windier day for all with showers in the west, perhaps merging into longer spells of rain for some. Driest further east. Thicker cloud is expected later in the day across Wales and southwest England. Highs at 11 to 17C.
