Unsettled
Relatively mild

Friday
A progressively wet day across Scotland as outbreaks of rain push northwards here, eventually clearing to drier and brighter conditions in the south later. Outbreaks of rain across England and Wales will clear from the west to drier conditions and sunny spells, although more rain is expected to push into Wales and southwest England later. Breezy across England and Wales too. Outbreaks of rain across Ireland but largely dry for Northern Ireland. Highs at 11 to 15C.

Friday night
More rain will progressively push in across western parts of England, Wales and southern Scotland through the evening and overnight, while clearing northern Scotland. Largely dry through eastern English counties. Largely dry conditions through Northern Ireland and Ireland though showers in the west here. Lows at 3 to 7C in the north and west, milder across much of England and Wales.

Saturday
Outbreaks of rain, heavy for a time, across England, Wales and Scotland in the morning will gradually clear from the west with drier and brighter weather to follow. Some showery rain will affect western counties of Ireland still but these should ease in the afternoon. A mainly dry day with sunny spells for Northern Ireland, although showers cannot be completely ruled out. Highs at 10 to 14C.

Sunday
A new developing area of low pressure to the west of Scotland will push more rain in from the west across England and Wales, turning heavy and persistent at times, as well as push northeastwards across Scotland. Eventually clearing and drier and brighter weather will follow. Showery rain across Northern Ireland and Ireland, particularly in the west. A breezy day and cooler for most, with temperatures of 8 to 12C for many, although southeast England still sees highs up to 14C.
