Friday
Another warm feeling day with southerly winds across the British Isles. A front extends through northern and western Scotland and Ireland bringing heavy periods of rain. A murky start for many, but early fog will lift to give a good deal of sunshine for England and Wales. A few brighter spells in eastern Scotland too. Gusty winds in places for Scotland. Light winds for many. A very warm day in any sunshine at 21C, nearer 17C in the cloudier west and north, but feeling humid.

Friday night
Staying very mild overnight as southerly air continues to influence the country. Further rain to come for Scotland and Ireland, and a little drizzle is possible with low cloud around far western coasts of England and Wales. Variable cloud for northern England. Some low cloud or fog banks forming for central and southern England through the night. Strongest breeze in the west, lighter winds toward the south and east. Temperatures not falling below 12C, some places nearer 15C.

Saturday
A ridge of high pressure persists in England and Wales on Saturday. A front remains in Ireland and western Scotland with more cloud and some outbreaks of rain here. Misty and murky with some fog on hills here. The risk of some low cloud and drizzle in western England and over the hills of Wales too. Brighter spells developing in central and eastern areas of England and Wales. Another warm day with highs at 22C in sunny spells over England, 17C in the cloudier west.

Sunday
High pressure will be situated to the southwest, whilst a weakening cold front passes southeastwards over England and Wales through the day. This will bring cloudy skies and perhaps a little light rain for a time. Brighter skies follow. Some sun ahead of this front in the south and southeast. A few showers for north and western Scotland with a brisk westerly breeze here. Southeastern areas still quite warm, up to 19C, but it feel cooler for the north and west, nearer 13C.
