Very mild and unsettled with wind and rain, but then turning cooler later in the week

An unsettled week ahead with low pressure bringing rain and showers on many days. Mot of the rain and showers will be in more northern and western areas. Mild for all, and perhaps very mild on some days in the east. Tending to turn cooler later in the week and ito the weekend.

Wednesday 27/10/21
An area of rain associated with a frontal system through Ireland, southern Scotland, northwest England as well as northwest Wales on Wednesday. This could bring some heavy periods of rain. Low cloud affecting other western coasts of England and Wales. Cloud breaks in East Anglia and the southeast allow fro some brighter spells. Further rain in western Scotland, but brighter and drier in the north. Breezy for all. Very mild with highs at 13 to 17C.

Thursday 28/10/21
Low pressure to the west brings another mild day on Thursday. Rain afecting Ireland, western England and Wales as well as western Scotland. Drier in central and eastern areas, some sunny spells in the east too. A breezy day in the north and west. Highs at 14 to 18C.
 

Friday 29/10/21
More rain through Wales, southwest England and northern England on Friday, this edges into the Midlands too. More eastern areas should be drier with some bright spells. Sunnier skies in Scotland and much of Ireland although showers in the west. Highs at 10 to 12C in Scotland and Northern Ireland, 16C in southeast England.

Saturday 30/10/21
Low pressure dominates again through Saturday. Rain affects much of the country, passing east through the day. The rain is likely to be rather showery, but there could be some heavier bursts too. Brighter weather follows to the west. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Sunday 31/10/21
A mix of sunny spells and scattered showers for Sunday with low pressure north of Scotland. This brings scattered showers with it, mostly over northern and western coasts and hills. Highs at a cooler 10 to 14C.

Monday 1/11/21
Low pressure is north and east of the country on Monday. This brings some rai to East Anglia and the southeast. For most the day will be bright with sunny spells, a scattering of showers over western hills. It will be feeling cool at 8 to 12C.
