More changeable weather, but not as wet as recent weeks
The weather remains unsettled in the coming week. There will be an odd drier day, but overall we are in for more rain, although not as heavy as recently. Perhaps becoming windy again next week.

Friday 6/3/20 Lower pressure remains close to the UK and Ireland on Friday. Broken cloud and a few showers, most affecting western coasts and hills, fewer in the east. Some sunny spells in many areas as well. Temperatures at 6 to 8C.
Saturday 7/3/20 A weak ridge of high pressure builds on Saturday. There could be some showers in east at first but these will be fading. Drier and brighter west and north with sunny spells although cloud and rain arrives in western Scotland and western Ireland later. Temperatures at 5 to 9C.
Sunday 8/3/20 Low confidence in the forecast for Sunday as a front passes east taking rain with it. Following will be broken cloud, sunny spells and showers, most on western coasts and hills. Highs at 7 to 11C.
Monday 9/3/20 A mixed westerly flow is likely on Monday. Breezy with showery periods of rain, most in the west. Drier to the south and east. Winds 12C in the south, 8C in the north.
Tuesday 10/3/20 Mixed weather as a front brings cloud and rain. Showers in western Scotland, but drier in the east. Breezy and cloudy in the south. Highs at 13C along southern coasts, 6C in northern Scotland.
Wednesday 11/3/20 Low pressure to the north of the UK on Wednesday. A brisk westerly wind with sunny spells and frequent showers. The showers wintry in Scotland. Fewer showers in eastern and southern areas. Highs at 3 to 10C.
