Chance of a local shower

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 14th April 2021
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Sun and areas of cloud

Good morning,

High pressure resides across Britain, bringing a generally fair day. Chance of isolated showers, mainly across southwestern regions in the afternoon, the odd one may drift out toward the coasts.

Little wind for most places, but expect a cool northeasterly breeze for coastal districts in East Anglia and southeast England.

There will be sunshine and also areas of cloud, which will tend to fill in during the day for inland areas to become rather cloudy overall.

Today's top temperatures reaching 11 to 13C, but eastern coasts will be a few degrees cooler.

Have a great day.
Garry
