Sunny spells and showers. Feeling cold still.

A frosty start for the north and west again on Sunday, but sunny skies here along with some coastal wintry showers. Cloudier in the southeast.

The afternoon will showers becoming more widespread. Sunny spells are expected to develop across the southeast. A front arrives from the Atlantic gradually thickening the cloud cover across northwest Scotland, Northern Ireland and much of Ireland with rain arriving by early evening. Another cold day.

Cloud and rain will push across southwest Scotland, Northern Ireland and much of Ireland initially then into north and west Wales and northwest England later in the night. Cloud likely to thicken across the rest of Wales as well across western parts of England. Elsewhere, largely clear skies, dry conditions with a hard frost forming.
