Morning Call - April 27, 2021
Patchy rain
Cool

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 27th April 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Patchy rain pushing south.

In the morning there will be largely cloudy skies with patchy outbreaks of rain about, although across southern England expect more sunshine, albeit probably rather hazy for some, and largely dry conditions.

The afternoon will see the low pressure centre sink south and over southern England allowing for outbreaks of rain to affect mainly central and southern areas of England as well as parts of Wales and Ireland, although the far southeast could remain dry with sunshine throughout. Sunshine and showers further north and west.

A chilly northeasterly flow sets up as the area of low pressure continues to sink towards the Channel overnight. Heavy showers or even longer spells of rain are expected across central and southern parts of England as well as Wales. A scattering of lighter showers further north and westbut plenty of dry periods here too.
