Morning Call - April 02, 2021
Mostly dry
Chilly in east

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 2nd April 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Settled with sunshine. Chilly towards the east.

A dry morning and sunny for many, albeit rather chilly, although there could be more cloud bringing the odd spot of light rain/drizzle across northern Scotland. Eastern areas could again see more cloud cover too.

The afternoon will remain dry with a good deal of sunshine about. Staying cool in the east where there could be more cloud about, but temperatures should rise to average values by afternoon in the west.

Overnight, largely clear skies are expected with generally dry conditions although the odd light shower cannot be ruled out for some easternmost places of England. Temperatures will fall again but most places should stay above zero, just a touch of frost possible for some locations.
