Increasingly cloudy and drizzly west with rain in northwest Scotland
High pressure is in control of the weather over the UK and Ireland today. There will be some sunshine this morning, a touch of frost in a few places too. Most areas will be dry, although as cloud increases through the morning, a few showers developing on Wales and Northern Ireland.
This afternoon stays bright with good spells of sunshine. Cloud is going to be broken again, some sunny spells too. Dry for most areas, but still feeling cool despite the sunshine.
Skies will be clearing tonight. Winds fall light and a slight frost is likely.
