Dry, plenty of sunshine, some cloud in northern Scotland
A fine day on Thursday with high pressure in control. There will be plenty of sunshine this morning, with a touch of frost first thing in more sheltered areas. Broken cloud in eastern England, thicker cloud in northern Scotland.
Plenty of sunshine for most of the country this afternoon. Broken cloud for central and northern Scotland, although some sunny spells here too. Feeling mild in the sunshine, warmest in the west.
Clear skies tonight and staying dry. A touch of ground frost again, mostly in parts of Wales, central and northern England as well as Ireland. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland, some spots of rain over far northern hills.
