Morning Call - April 16, 2021
Frosty start
Cloud in west

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 16th April 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

After a frosty start it will be mainly dry although cloudier to the north and west.

A frosty yet bright start once again for many, although cloud will be thicker across western Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. The cloud will push into eastern Scotland and west Wales through the morning. Expect western most fringes of Ireland and the Western Isles to see some patchy rain too. Dry with sunny spells elsewhere.

The afternoon will be mainly dry with sunny spells, these best across England and Wales. Cloudier still further north and west with patchy, light rain continuing to affect the far west.

Overnight, cloudier skies will continue across Northern Ireland and Ireland with patchy light rain affecting some western coasts. Scotland will remain largely dry with clearing skies although the Western Isles could see continued drizzle. England and Wales will see clear spells and dry conditions.
