Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 14th May 2022 Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus
Largely dry with variable cloud
In the morning, there is likely to be some mist and murk for some, more so across western areas. A few spots of light rain and drizzle affecting north and northwest Scotland too. Otherwise, largely dry with the best of the sunny spells in the south.
In the afternoon, any drizzly rain should largely clear the far north though the odd spot of rain cannot be ruled out in the thicker cloud across some western areas, including Ireland. Through the evening, expect showers to push up from the Channel and reach some southern English counties.
Overnight, showery, thundery rain pushes northwards looking to affect parts of southern and central England inlcuding Wales. Dry with clear spells elsewhere. Lows at 5 to 10C.
